What the heck is going on?
Bull runs are usually confirmed by market averages. A market average can be said to be the calculation of price measurement across a particular market recorded as an index. Market average leads the way in a market.
In the crypto market, the market average is bitcoin. Anything bitcoin does affects the whole market. If bitcoin goes bullish every altcoin does and vice versa. To confirm if the bull market has begun, we look at bitcoin. We could also look at ETH and BNB as market averages also. ETH is the market average for Ethereum blockchain based tokens and BNB for BSC based tokens.
I studied these three market averages which eventually are the three biggest cryptocurrencies, I found out that their volume hasn't really changed. This makes me remember the contrarian principle. When everyone says yes, you better watch out cause it could be a no. We wanna be on the side of the smart money. As I said earlier, I haven't confirmed the bull until btc trades above the 30k zone. Although money will be made if it moves from 25k to 30k especially from the altcoins, but you wanna invest smartly.
The three biggest coins haven't had any major changes in their weekly traded volume. BTC usually traded around $20B weekly, ETH $9-14B while BNB was around $2B at about last year and it still does till now. Infact BNB has reduced to $900m in weekly volume. This doesn't smell bullish. However some altcoins has seen volume increase of over 300%. These are the tokens making the waves right now, but to confirm the length of the bull run, I have to look at the Average and the average doesn't confirm yet.
This may mean that it's not smart money that's making this move. Although smart money have started accumulating projects, but you wanna be sure you are on the same page with the smart money.
