FIFA published new rankings on Thursday. World Cup runner-up France has moved up to the second place like Argentina. And Brazil dropped two steps back to third.
2022 World Cup winners Argentina thrashed Panama 2-0 in a friendly last month and a Lionel Messi hat-trick thrashed Curaçao 7-0. Five-time world champions Brazil lost 2-1 to Morocco in their only friendly match. That is reflected in the ranking.
France beat the Netherlands 4-0 and Ireland 1-0 in the qualifying round of the European Championship. There is no change in the top ten rankings.
Bangladesh is at number 192 as before. They played two friendly matches against Seychelles in Sylhet last month, winning the first 1-0 and losing the second by the same margin.
