Ingredients required for the recipe:

 


Amount of materials
Chicken meat 300 grams
Potato 1 large size
Onion paste 2 t
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Cumin powder 1 spoon
Turmeric powder 1 spoon
Salt to taste
Red chili powder 2 tsp
2 spoons of ginger paste
Garlic paste 2 spoons
Oil quantity for making fry
Meat masala 2 spoons
A bowl of flour
Cornflower 2 spoons
Black cumin, salt, one spoon of sugar, three spoons of oil, a little for kneading the dough
Oil for frying pitas

 


Steps to make Chicken Jhal Pitha

 


Step 1 of making Chicken Jhal Pitha

First I took the pieces of meat to make the Chicken Jhal Puli. Boil the pieces of meat in a pot with water. I added some salt, oil and turmeric to it.

When the meat is cooked, take it out of the oven and allow it to cool. When it cools down, cut it into small pieces. Peel a large potato and cut it into small pieces.

After that, I gathered all the necessary materials. Along with the pieces of meat and potatoes cut into sizes, I took all the ingredients together. After taking all the ingredients, knead them well by hand.

Now put a fry pan in the oven and wait for it to get hot with enough oil. When it gets hot, I will add the meat butter that has been mixed in it. As the meat was already boiled, it does not need to be boiled more. Now stir fry potatoes and other spices. Fry until brown color. I will turn off the stove when it is fried.

Now to make pita, butter should be prepared with flour. So I took the mentioned amount of flour. I added black cumin seeds, sugar, some salt, small amount of cornflour and a little oil. Mix all the ingredients well by hand. Now make dough with little water. Done making the dough.

Now that the dough is done, roll the bread into small pieces to make the pita. I took small pieces of bread as needed.

Since the bread is over, now I have prepared pitas with fried meat in the bread. After making the pita, I put enough oil in a pan. When the oil gets hot, the pitas should be fried in it. In this way, one by one, I fried all the pitas well. In this way, all the pitas are fried.

As pitha is prepared it is the last time to serve. Because chicken jhal jhal pitha is very good to eat. So I have made it as kids also like this pie a lot. Chicken jhal puli pitha is one of my favorite pithas. But it is a lot of trouble to make, so even if you want to make it, it is not made all the time. Because I find it time consuming.
