Necessary equipment:
1.Pollao rice - 2 cups
2. Chopped onion-3
3. Ghee - like quantity
4. Ginger paste - 1 tsp
5. Hot spices and bay leaves - as expected
6. Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
7. Sugar - little
8. salt
9. Green chillies
10. Moong dal - 1 cup





Steps of cooking Khichuri:

First I fried mung beans.

After that, I washed the dal along with the Polava rice and kept it aside.

After that, I put the pan in the oven and fried it with ghee and garam masalas. Then I fried the chopped onions.

Then one by one I fried them with ginger paste, turmeric powder and salt.

After that, I fried the pollawa rice in spices and covered it with enough water.

After that I covered again with green chillies and little sugar and reduced the flame of the stove and cooked it.
