I have heard from everyone that hilsa tastes better with poppy seeds. I also saw it on TV. But never eaten. For which today I decided to cook hilsa with poppy and tried to share the recipe with you.

INGREDIENTS Amount of Hilsa fish 4 pieces of poppy seeds Amount of mustard paste Amount of raw chili 4-5 taka Chili paste 3-4 chilies Cumin paste 1 tablespoon Onion paste 2 onions Amount of turmeric powder Amount of dry chili powder Amount of salt as ground cumin 1 tablespoon Mustard oil amount
Cooking method:
Step-1:
First I heated oil in a pot and fried the fish well. I used mustard oil in cooking.

Step-2:
Then heat the cooking pot in the oven and add mustard oil. After that slowly add onion paste, mustard paste, cumin paste, raw chilli paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.

**Step-3:
Add soaked poppy seeds in it, then fry it for a while and add some water. Then I added the chopped raw pepper and grated it a little more.

Step-4:
When it became a little thick, I added fried hilsa fish in it and then covered it with a little water

In this way, after covering for a while, I brought down the much-desired poppy hilsa.
