The city is decorated with lights and even though people are busy, Kolkata feels like a magical city, especially when it gets late at night. It is very nice to go for a drive in Kolkata at night. But today I will share with you the photography of some places around Park Street. I will try to show there what Kolkata looks like at night. However, the scene of each place in Kolkata is different. It is very difficult to judge the entire Kolkata by seeing only one particular place.
Since there are many famous places around Park Street including the Victoria Memorial, the Maidan, horse riding is very popular here. During the day, of course, but at night people also go out with horses and there are many nice people who like to ride horses at night.
At night, the administrative system of Kolkata becomes quite strong. Police are deployed from place to place, so that there is no inconvenience to the general public. Moreover, the police are very active in controlling the traffic system.
What I find most interesting about Kolkata at night is the colorful and varied cars standing in the traffic. Sometimes yellow taxis in the middle of white cars and sometimes several yellow taxis in a row.
I took this photo on December 26th right in front of the church on Park Street. Just the day before, this place was crowded with people. But after a day, even though there were no people there, the lighting was very busy and the street looked very beautiful.
These photos were taken from Park Street, just opposite the Calcutta Museum. Although the light is a little low on this road, it is quite empty at night. So this road is perfect for strolling and driving around.
