One is dying of hunger every four seconds!

238 organizations from 75 countries, including Oxfam, Save the Children and Plan International, called on Tuesday (September 20).

The NGOs also issued an open letter to world leaders gathered in New York for the UN General Assembly.
The letter expressed outrage at the skyrocketing levels of hunger day by day.

Mohanna Ahmed Ali Eljabali of the Family Care Association of Yemen, one of the signatories of the open letter, said this is a dire crisis, as advanced technology is used in agriculture and harvesting in the 21st century. But now we are talking about famine. It is not about a country or a continent. Hunger does not have just one cause. This is an injustice to the entire humanity.

We should not wait another moment to provide immediate life-saving food and long-term aid, he added. so that people can fulfill their future responsibilities and provide food for themselves and their families; We need to start working to ensure that.
