The Bangabandhu Asian Central Zone Men's and Women's International Beach Volleyball Championship 2022 has started at Kalatali Point on the beach of Cox's Bazar.

Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan and Kyrgyzstan—men's teams from six countries and women's teams from four countries—Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Uzbekistan—are participating in this international tournament. The final of the tournament will be held tomorrow, December 29 in the afternoon.
In the speech of the chief guest, Atiqul Islam said that the International Beach Volleyball Championship was organized at Cox's Bazar, the world's largest beach. It will expand the tourism sector of Bangladesh.
