Tumpa and Sampa are two sisters. A familiar face of the national women's volleyball team. Played international matches. Along with playing, their studies are going on. In 2016, they were nominated for the Women's Volleyball Talent Search in Rajshahi. Like them, five daughters of Rajshahi are now playing in the national team. One of them recently participated in the World Games held in Berlin and won a team gold medal.
The other three Rajshahi players who played in the national team are Ajmira Khatun (20), Diti Rani (27) and Asha Khatun (26). One of them has taken control of the family for the sake of volleyball.

Khandkar Mominur Rashid, coach of Rajshahi District Sports Association, said that because of these girls, Rajshahi has achieved the glory of becoming champions one after another at the national level. On July 19, a reception was given by the district sports organization. He said these players participated in various tournaments on behalf of police and Ansar forces. This time only 5 players from Rajshahi got a chance in the 12-member national team. Recently, they were seen practicing at Muktijudda Stadium in Rajshahi.
Tumpa Akhtar and Sampa Akhtar's house is in Kedurmor area of Rajshahi Nagar. Their father Alal Chowdhury is a vegetable trader. Tumpa is now 21. This time he took the entrance exam of Jessore University of Science and Technology. Hopefully, players will get admission in sports science department in quota. Younger sister Sampa (19) will give HSC exam now. Brother is the eldest among three sisters and one brother. He looks after the business with his father. The younger sister is studying in class 10.
