According to Saudi and Spanish media reports, the French coach of Al Nasr, Rudy Garcia, was fired on Wednesday due to the displeasure of the Portuguese superstar.
Al-Nasr is three points behind Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League title race after a goalless draw with Al-Feiha last Sunday. After the match, Garcia got into a fight with the players in the dressing room. The club authorities decided to lay off the coach with seven matches left in the season to stop the fire.
Spanish sports daily AS reported that the decision to fire Garcia was finalized in a secret meeting between club officials and Ronaldo. Ronaldo expressed dissatisfaction with the coach in the meeting. The tactics of the French coach are not to his liking. The club authorities ultimately give importance to Ronaldo's opinion.
