Esta historia comienza con una familia conformada por (Ba Ba) papá, (Ma Ma) mamá y una niña (Fei Fei), donde su mamá le cuenta una hermosa historia sobre la fase de la luna cuando el perro se come la luna, es es uno de los perros de la Diosa Chang'e, quien cuenta la leyenda de ese gran amor, como su amado Houyi logra vencer a los diez soles y obtener las semillas de la inmortalidad, para vivir un amor eterno con Chang'e, pero un ladrón entró a robar la semilla Chang'e se la metió en la boca para protegerla, fue elevada a la luna, desde ese día Houyi comenzó a hacer ofrendas de pastel de luna para su amada hasta el día de su muerte.
