The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 is all set to start on Monday (February 13) in Multan and will conclude with the final on March 19.
The eighth edition of Pakistan's premier T20 cricket league will see six teams battle in double round robin format and, then the top four after the league phase will tussle in the play-off or knock-out rounds to decide the winner.
PSL 2023 will see a total of 34 matches, including the playoffs, staged across four venues in four different cities of Multan, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Lahore, where the four playoff matches also will be held in March.
The first stage from Match 1 to 14 of the group phase will be played at the Multan Cricket Ground in Multan and National Stadium in Karachi, while the next stage from Match 15 to 30 will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.
The eighth edition of the league will see Pakistan's top stars like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim and Mohammad Rizwan lead the six teams.
Apart from the local talents, PSL 2023 will also see some overseas stars like James Vince, Moeen Ali, Rashid Khan, Sam Billings and Kieron Pollard among others in action.
