Destroying or knocking down a pole without just cause could surprise people passing by, but then they forget; destroying or tearing down an important statue can generate many comments for and against; destroying or demolishing an entire building without apparent reason or perisology could generate legal action.
Destroying or felling a tree for no apparent reason could generate comments against it but it would be difficult to lead to legal action because a felled tree can be mutilated and in hours be disappeared, then it is a living corpse corpse already disappeared without mourners and without sorrow.
In the photograph I show the moment when a number of trees began to be cut down on a scheduled basis for no apparent reason in the city of Puerto La Cruz approximately twenty years ago.
