DEVELOPMENT: About 27 years ago, I learned about VoIP technology. Telephones capable of connecting via USB began to appear in a specialized market. They were assigned a unique number from the factory. Users didn't need to subscribe to any telephone service; the phone was used freely through any telephone company. Companies with multiple branches began using them, and the only limitation was that they could receive and make calls to VoIP phones. Over the years, messaging apps for cell phones emerged, and these early VoIP phones became obsolete. Similar phones currently exist, but to use them, you must subscribe to a telephone company.
If you have Wi-Fi service, you can connect a large number of devices to that internet network, but for devices that use messaging services like WhatsApp and Telegram, you must be affiliated with a telephone company and pay a monthly data plan that you don't use. The solution is for applications that don't require a phone number to subscribe. Do you know what these applications are?
