En el terreno de campo de mis amigos apareció en una ocasión el polluelo o pichón de un ave, ese animalito lo alimentaron sin lograr identificar de qué especie era. Le fueron saliendo las plumas, algunas eran blancas y otras grises.
El ave creció pero no volaba y era mudo, no cantaba, su procedencia era un misterio, parecía entre loro y garza, las patas eran largas y el pico grueso.
En una ocasión, cuando llegó el verano, todo era sequía, la lluvia dejó de caer y había mucho calor durante el día y durante la noche, el ave misteriosa caminaba y saltaba para comer insectos sacados de entre la maleza seca.
En una noche de luna llena escuchamos un sonido melodioso, nos guiamos por el sonido y vimos al ave misteriosa con sus plumas de color azul resplandeciente casi tornasol, le abrimos la puerta porque la vimos mirando fijamente hacia el cielo, saltó varias veces dejando en el suelo unas huellas luminosas y empezó a volar. Se posó en la parte alta del palomar indicado en la fotografía que les muestro, desde ese lugar aumentó el sonido de su canto, empezó a caer una suave lluvia bastante fina por unos minutos.
Al terminar de llover se elevó por el aire bien alto pronunciando su dulce melodía ni ni ni ni do do do do do ni ni ni ni do do do do, así desapareció de nuestra vista hasta la fecha actual, pero en nuestra mente aun resuena ese sonido celestial del Nini Dodo.
