La cola de zorro es el nombre de una palmera ornamental, sus ramas son gruesas y frondosas parecidas a la cola de un zorro.

Esta palmera la he visto en muchas plazas y avenidas de la zona norte del estado Anzoátegui, me dicen que el precio en los viveros es elevado.

En una oportunidad me dediqué a recolectar las semillas, las publique en un mercado digital de mi país para tener más productos variados, el resultado fue que las vendí todas para mi sorpresa a diferencia de los otros productos que aun tengo en venta.

El fruto es rojo tal como lo ven en la foto, pero al quitarle la pulpa queda la cubierta de la semilla con unas fibras haciendo unos dibujos llamativos.
En una ocasión, un amigo con inclinaciones a la artesanía recolecto varias y realizo con ellas una especie de cortina bastante enterante a manera de varios collares en forma vertical.

Tail of Fox is the name of an ornamental palm tree, its branches are thick and leafy similar to a fox's tail.

I have seen this palm tree in many squares and avenues in the north of Anzoátegui state, they tell me that the price in nurseries is high.

On one occasion I dedicated myself to collecting the seeds, I published them in a digital market in my country to have more varied products, the result was that I sold them all to my surprise, unlike the other products that I still have for sale.

The fruit is red as you can see in the photo, but when you remove the pulp, the seed is covered with fibers making striking patterns.
On one occasion, a friend with an inclination to crafts collected several and made with them a rather entertaining kind of curtain in the form of several necklaces in a vertical shape.
